1998 S40 T4 For Sale

Next up on my list to clear out is my S40 T4.
1998 registered on S plate. Mileage is around 91,000. Mot is until March next year. Clean pass with no advisories.
Timing belt and water pump was done last year at 89k.
Has a custom built stainless steel exhaust by Simon’s in East KIlbride. Anybody from the Central belt in Scotland knows how good his work is.
I’ve put 17” wheels on and had them powder coated but the original 16” wheels go with it.
There’s also a few spares included in the sale ie rear shocks, top mount and some sensors that I picked when I used to work in a factors.
I’ve serviced it myself the last few years I’ve owned it but I never use the car so it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
Now the bad points.
Car was declared cat d in 2000 at 2 years old. Looks like it was a light impact in nsf corner.
Occasionally it turns over for a few seconds before it starts, other times it’s a half turn. I just can’t get to the bottom of it but it’s never failed to start or let me down.
Has a couple of very light surface rust patches in a couple of places but they’re hardly noticeable.
Looking for around £2500 or best offer if anybody is interested before I consider sell8ng at auction.
