V70 R Design....a few Questions
First of all Hi!...its my first post so go easy
New baby has prompted my prospective V70 purchase, had a test drive of a D5 (185) yesterday and was really impressed all things considered....seems to tick all the boxes! However, just a few questions: 1)Are the electric memory / heated seats standard on the R-Design....or was it a coincidence all the ones I looked at have them? 2)Does the standard radio have a Bluetooth option? 3) How many cup holders do they have? Id be looking at a 2008/2009 model. Any help appreciated! Thanks |

Hello and congrats on the imminent baby.
I have a 2011 R-Design SE (205hp) but it shouldn't differ from the one you test drove. I have the heated seat as my car is an SE R-Design but not sure if they are standard on the R-Design - memory seats are most certainly not standard. The Bluetooth is an optional extra. 2 cup holders (can't live without them!). Regards |

That is interesting, all the R-Design I have seen have electric memory seats. Very few have rear park assist, which i would have thought would be a popular option.....does anyone know how much they are to retrofit by Volvo? |

Mine is a 2009 (2010MY) 2.0d R-Design SE with no options other than metallic (Titanium - looks great IMHO). Mine does not have heated seats but does have the power/memory driver seat which was standard fit. 2 cup holders in front of front armrest plus 2 further in rear seat armrest (was option before 2010 MY but standard in 2010)
No bluetooth but I've fitted a Bury CC9060 which works great. Parking sensors were not standard but I've never had any trouble placing it to within inches due to pretty good visibility - the back of the car is just where it appears to be. I've had mine from new so now nearly 3 years old and 62k miles. Best car I've ever owned and makes my previous Audi A6 look like a bad joke. Nearly time to change though and price rises and a change of job mean I can't have another which is a great shame. |
