Wink

Mine was perfect no scratches and it was off a 15 year old car that was the dash and the door cappings plus the ash tray.

Blimey 19k miles on a ph1 v70? lowest mileage ive heard of one having, most breakers hire monkeys who in my experience aren't exactly the brightest sparks evident by the thread recently in the 700/900s section showing expensive rare alloys that were sold for £80. Have you not got any local yards where you take the parts off yourself? they tend to be cheaper too and i agree with wrinkles if you can get some off a low mileage car they are likely to be in fair condition, the parts v70 i bought only had 118k miles and was really clean the back seats were literally never used by the couple who owned it, anyway good luck with your search and i agree while not real wood they do look good and are a nice upgrade.

I thought from the OP that it was a 2011 car!

Don't blame him for wanting to change all that brushed aluminium/shiny silver trim. Too bright and cold for my liking, that's why I bought mine with the dark fineline trim, not as brash as the silver but not as old school as walnut, faux or otherwise!

Yes, it is a 2011 model Lux with 19K miles. I used 1stchoice website to search for the wood inlays, but nobody (breakers) so far seems to have them. I guess I just give up. So far the best Volvo offer is now £600 + installation. So might have to give up on that idea.

Then again, I am sure that the inlays have not changed, even if the car is a 2010 model, etc. They redesigned that dash in the '62 model (I have also an an S80 '62 reg) with much improved sat nav and audio, the sat nav in the older ones is rubbish and difficult to use Thanks for the advice.
