Still for sale
Summary of the current condition of the car Bad Points The blower motor is starting to go, sometimes it comes on, sometimes not, this has just recently happened and I'm not sure what the cause is. the problem i detailed above regarding the jerking/hesitation. there is some paint peel on driver's side front wing and rear quarter panel (it looks like a bad respray job, its the same colour paint over the top, so this could do with sanding down and sorting) The headlining was removed. Good Points lots of recipts/service history Put in a completed new sunroof assembly + motor, all working 100% and very very little surface rust on this new panel, but it could possibly do with reseating, sometimes it sits low when "shut" this is pretty easy to do. Only 100k miles (i literally just serviced it too, oil (mobil 1) oil filter, fuel filter (new volvo washers), air filter, spark plugs (volvo), HT leads new, distributor cap, coil. at last MOT i put a brand new rear box on it, (the middle box has a little hole in it, advisory on MOT) put a new (used) nivomat on the rear since old one was leaking (£75) I have driven this car a few long distances, never had any mechanical problems (apart from the issue highlighted above which has been with me since i had the car) Also put in a nice new head unit with MP3/AUX and added 2 volvo speakers to the rear doors. (despite the car having original speakers in the front they still sound very good ) everything else works (even the electric aerial) i have collected a few misc spares which will go with the car, random parts, mainly small things, water pump (changed but was working) grille, reusable air filter, box of misc. nearly forgot also had the cam cover off and put a new rocker gasket on, as well as painted the cam cover and lacquering it (I left it a long time but it still apparently wasnt dry when i put it back on so it removed the smooth feeling to touch, it has since dried fully, and still looks good imo) also put some chrome dome nuts on. £550 takes it! |
