He appears to be active only in this thread. He doesn't seem to post anywhere else, but don't worry, he's still here.

The good laird IS alive and well; as he no longer runs anything Swedish he has elected to maintain a lower-than-previous profile, commenting infrequently on matters of import to himself.

Laird has betrayed the community and went Volvoless. Now rides his Jag and a Honda CR-V (i believe). He can't hand out with the brick nerds anymore. I heard he is a V-Tec bro now.

He will probably say hello once he reads the name of this thread

Nothing wrong with running Hondas. In fact, I'd recommend it. We run a 2006 Accord Euro-R alongside our 2005 V70.
By the way, that should be vtec.

I don't know what "hydrolocked on meths" means. But he had said he just had trouble getting in and out of the volvo and needed a higher car with great carrying space (the CRV). And he kept the jag because it had eletric seats that move backwards enough to be comfortable to get in and out. That's what I remember.
Never heard anything about hydrolocking engines or methamphetamines.

It's a pity if he no longer takes part in this forum.

His knowledge and passion for this range of cars was unequalled.
