Rear Hockey stick, K reg 240 Torslanda
Ive been after a rear 'hockey stick' drivers side (R/H) for my K reg 240 Torslanda.. i am always just too late for the odd ones on Ebay or just SO alarmed by how much someone asks that i hesitate and then its gone. I know these bits of trim are hard to track down but would very much like to fill the hole between the bumper and rear light cluster.. I guess up to 50quid is my max.. ive been quoted quite a bit more! Whats reasonable and what is the going price and has anyone got any leads? Thanks!

They are a real pain to find, and expensive as you say.
I wonder if there is a 3D model available for printing. It would only work for the black plastic ones but it's a start. |

Hi Juular,
This touches a bit on something I'd been thinking about for a while, but hadn't got round to doing anything about. I was thinking perhaps the various forum 'administrators' of each model/series could compile a simple list of the most needed and effective parts that are no longer available, but could perhaps be 3D printed. Then perhaps the club could get them printed and made available to members at a reasonable rate, perhaps cost + small profit. I think this type of thing for rubber seals etc. would not be viable due to the cost of getting moulds made, but who knows. Cheers Steve |

Ive had a couple of people mention this; my brother who has restored a Hillman Minx estate has a contact in Australia who has 3D printed some components from originals for him.. I'm sure it could be done and the Torslanda ones are black plastic not Chrome..
