2009 v70 d5 awd
I am in the market for a V70 which will double up as a towcar for our caravan, so an AWD would have some advantages for us.
I have the chance of a 2009 V70 D5 with 75,000 miles with full history. Are there any problems to be aware of with the AWD system? Or am I better off with a 2 wheel drive V70? Thanks Richard... |

I come from the first generation (97-2000) forum, which they used their first attempt at an AWD system using a quite fragile method.
However the 09 should be on the third generation of their AWD system, which is a bit more robust. I'm not sure what problems the third generation have, but you'll be looking at the haldex 3 system; http://www.awdwiki.com/en/haldex/ Hope that at least gives you an introduction!
