Default Thinking of buying a '95 850 wagon

I'm looking to buy an 850 wagon, the one I'm looking at right now is a '95. I have a few questions. This forum alone is enough to make me want to buy!

* I know this is a forum of enthusiasts, so I probably won't get an unbiased answer , but are there any maintenance headaches, chronic failures, etc? My last car, a Mercury Villager that I loved, had a handful of problems (none I ever experienced) that members of a site like this could spout off. Be brutal and honest, please.

* I'm looking to tow a 1000 lb trailer. I've towed it with a variety of vehicles, and no problems, but how are the Volvos? The one I'm looking at is a 5-speed.

* What is the real-world MPG?

* Any other comments?

Thanks!

You might want to add what engine type you plan on getting.
