Unhappy Club Number plate

Hi, I am a recently joined VOC member. I have been attempting to purchase a pair of VOC number plates but am experiencing problems.
The legislation allows for certain authorised persons to do this on behalf of the plate manufacturer, who will then make the plate on receipt of a document of certification that the original car registration document has been physically examined by that authorised person.

In the VOC all club appointed officials are authorised to undertake this check. You must contact one of them and arrange for the car registration document to be examined so that the VOC official can issue the certificate.
I contacted the Northern group secretary only to be told that he had no knowledge of this. Help Who do I need to contact? George,

All club officials have been notified of the procedure and supplied with the appropriate forms. This is an approved method of dealing with this and complies with the regulations.

We (the VOC) do not want members to post their documents to us as they should be sent by SD, and we do not want to accept responsibility for their safety. The system whereby a member showing any club official the document was devised and that official then sends/faxes a form to Ron who deals with the ordering.

Please email or PM me with the details of the closest club official you can show the document(s) to and I will ensure this is dealt with quickly and properly.
