Default eco tyre pressures

sorry its abit off subject but be warned with using eco pressures. I ran my V50 at the eco 36 instead of the "normal" 31. After 30000 miles i have had to change my tyres because purely they are worn out on the centre despite plenty of tread on the edges. I am sure at the correct pressure i would have got another 5k miles at least. False economy perhaps.

Dont notice any change in fuel consumption but ride definitely better at the normal pressures.

Good luck sorting your ride.

Why does the Load compensating suspension have a fuse, I thought they were completely auto mechanically operated as the one described below. If not, can anyone say what type is used on the XC60 and where is the fuse?

Nivomat (from the French Niveau, meaning of a higher class or different position and mat, as in automatic) is monotube designed shock absorber that provides a mechanical self-leveling feature utilizing the energy that is generated by the relative movement of the axle and body when driving.

The Fourc-C chassis has a fuse, B2 in the rear cargo section, not sure what it is used for though, but the fact that it is at the rear makes me think it is more than just to power the LEDs in the buttons. 15A.

Hi! I have had an XC60 D3 Geartronic Se Lux since new in December 2010.
I have to agree wholeheartedly with Jim that the ride is very harsh. I live in the country in Suffolk and on local roads the car is uncomfortable and skittish. Even on town and A roads it makes something of even the smallest road repair or imperfection. For me it spoils the experience of a car which in every other way is superb.

Certainly seems as if the OP has a problem with his car. As a general rule wheels above the standard 18" (on an XC60) will have a harsher ride.
