d5 air con compressor clutch/pulley replacement?????
hi guys,
It seems the bearing in my a/c pump pulley is on its way out and i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on it? can i remove the pulley with the pump still fitted? and if so will i need any special tools? any idea's if the pulley off a v40 would slot straight on? it looks similar? cheers dave |

Did you ever resolve this? It looks like my 08MY XC70 A/C Compressor clutch may be out too. The FEAD area stinks of burning - initially I thought it was alternator/tensioner but after replacing the alternator and the tensioner/belt (recall) it still smells and the compressor makes a nasty rattling noise when the A/C is turned off.
