Default 2008 D5 Engine Parts. Genuine V "After Market"

I plan on doing a light "refresh" of my 2008 D5 engine. Cam cover gasket is blowing, and I have popping through the intake once warm, so will be renewing lifters (and rockers if required), swirl flaps, cam cover gasket, vacuum pump seals, belts, tensioners etc.

So the question is, what are peoples experiences regarding pattern parts? I've used INA and Gates Timing and V belt kits in the past with no problems. Not so sure about the lifters. Volvo want big bucks for their branded ones, but nor sure who actually makes them. BGA ones look very keenly priced, but have no experience of their quality. Same goes for cam gasket and swirl flaps. There's a real array of price points.

Need to bear in mind that with 150K, there's a value/longevity equation to sum up, but certainly don't want to be doing all that work and having to replace stuff after 10k miles.

So would appreciate peoples real world experiences of aftermarket swirl flaps, lifters etc.

Thanks in advance.
