Not going anywhere to be honest except it's useful as a buyers guide or when people have a problem with their car and see what other people are getting mpg wise. Thanks for your info

My previous car 330d estate used to average 37-42mpg and I drove that like it was stolen. I miss it dearly, the XC90 is in another class however, super comfortable, really nice to drive, lots of spec, roof bars, towbar, side steps etc, so although the MPG is depressing, the functionality is exceptional and I dare not to part with it anytime soon.

I do 32 miles a day to work and back, it is all dual carriageway but about 6 roundabouts so a lot of braking and accelerating back up to 70... ish

Best MPG is a run from Norwich to Bristol, I was shocked! Best daily average is around 41mpg.

Worst is when it's particularly cold early in the morning on the way to work, seems to affect it quite a bit.
