That is probably a very early GB/0D if it was original to the Ruddspeed car, if that was the original registration. The output flange my be the type that uses U bolts? I'm loathe to give you a figure as it depends on whether someone is desperate for one. Could be as low as £200 or as high as £500. They buyer is taking a chance anyway as to the condition. You may get enquiries and someone may make an offer after they read this thread. Give priority to Estate owners as they need it most!

Having taken the decision to sell my Amazon project car I have got round to sorting the remaining parts I have & the main one is an overdrive gearbox that the previous owner had attached a label that reads:

v/good o/drive gearbox
Ex 303DPX Ruddspeed

Could you give me some idea of what you think would be a fair price to ask for it, I`ve never been a wheeler dealer & you seem like a knowledgeable decent man to ask.
Cheers
Dave
Don't let it go for less than £500!

Hello Derek,
Thank you for your advice.
I think you may be right about the U bolt flange, I`ll try & include a photo with this post.
Previous owner got it from L&H Motors Putney.
Thought the registration looked like a very old one, didn`t know if it still existed & could be reunited with it`s old gearbox but DVLA search had no record.
Cheers
Dave

Purely out of curiosity, maybe the later type output flange will fit?
Though I am aware there are at least 2 different spline options with the later type.

[QUOTE=Dave 61;2764775]Well the good news is that the Amazon went to it`s new home on Friday & I`ve had a couple of messages from the new owner today, one with pictures of the Shotblasting being done & another to say he`d ordered panels from Brookhouse.
So it looks like it will live again after all.
Cheers
Dave

Thought I`d try & post the photos, if nothing else it will get my Post count up so I can reply to messages !

Nice pictiures - good to see someone adding to their sand pit "the hard way"
