Few issues that I want to resolve
When hot temp gauge stays just below centre but under load it goes up then drops back to below centre……..any ideas??
Also just regassed AC but not blowing cold………could it be compressor??
Any help appreciated
Could be the magnetic coupling check if the compressor is turning if you engage the ac

And if the temp meter is below the middle its way of...because its a dampening meter which only moves if its outside its range of 70 ----105 celcius, check the thermostat.....or the temp is dropping due to low speed driving and max heater use.... with an ok thermostat...on the highway the temp should be above 85 celcius no matter how the heater is used because the heat flow from the engine is way higher

Wow seems like mine is only just run in reading some of mileages on here!

Anyway I have a facelift 2010 C30 D5 R Design and it has done 160k miles.

Bought it at 3 years old with 68k on the clock.

It has a stage 1 remap so roughly 200 ish HP, goes very well ineed!

Still on original clutch and flywheel.

Loved every minute of driving it and it's been super reliable, in fact one of the best cars I have ever owned, if I could go and buy a new one tomorrow I would.

Default S60 D5 Auto

Hi all, I have my trusted S60 D5 auto 04 plate which I've had since 07. She's just clocked up 387k! Reliable as clockwork.

2005 V70 D5 on 260K miles just skated MOT with no advisories Friday & running like a car with 80K.

Previous 2003 V70 D5 was still going well on 627K when it found a new owner with open arms a few years back.

They both have / had extensive service history.

Therein lies the clue I believe to the cars that stand the mileage..

My 2012 D5 V70 has done 238k miles and averaged a genuine measured 46mpg in the last 208k miles under my ownership, albeit a lot of those were on M-ways. The only issue I have had was a failed alternator bearing which caused problems due to the fitment of a crap aftermarket replacement. She still runs like a new car!

Meant to say, best car I've ever had and I'm looking forward to the next 238k mikes!

Reading this thread gives me confidence in my D5. I have a baby mileage of only 36k on a 2014 D5 V70. I look forward to putting 100k on it.

2012 D5 V70

348777 and still going strong, uses about a litre of oil between services, bit like myself.
