Picked up my XC60 in July2021 only for it to spend more time in garage due to software errors. Garage decided to order me a new car as errors could not be fixed. New XC60 ordered in a pre allocated build slot September with delivery last week in December. This was pushed to first week of January 2022 in October and has now been pushed to 28th January. Dealer in formed me last week if no update to the Google system by my delivery then new car will have same errors and behave in the same way.

Planning on picking car up and trading it in for something without google the same day at the moment. Trade in price is more than the price I have paid due to discounts received after the hassle with first car.

Don’t hold any hope it will be delivered in January thinking more March for new registration plate.

The more I read and hear about the Google system the happier I am the S60 doesn’t come with it and sticks with the tried and tested Senus system.

Me too, I just picked up my new MY22 S60 with the Sensus system and pretty please with it.

Argh - I went to see my dealer today with a view to haggling and ordering a V60 T8.

Then he hit me.

A month ago delivery time was estimated to be May - so around 7 months.
Now it's estimated October. That's October 2022. So 11 months.

And the new trims are in the system.

So, the R-design becomes Plus Dark. All the options I wanted are there. Satnav is included now. There's maybe a 1% price increase on the spec I had planned.

But 11 months estimated. OMG.

Wow 11 months is crazy, I can see mine being pushed back it’s supposed to be April which will be 6 months. If it gets pushed back much more I’ll just cancel and stay in my current car

Received an update on mine today… build has been confirmed with delivery currently expected 05th to 15th May.

I’m hoping it doesn’t slip as we’ve a holiday booked for end of May and I could really do with the extra space (driving to The Netherlands).

At least my order has been confirmed by the factory. Happy with that!

Seems logical ordered 2 weeks after mine and delivery expected around 2 weeks after

What software issues are you having with your car?
Im currently having a speed limit issue ( displaying incorrect speed limits for the road being driven) Also now the VOC is totally screwed, Dealership had the car last week for 2 days, did a GPS software update resolved speedlimit issue but screwed VOC, now unable to re-pair phone to car, Car was Factory Defaulted By them again and yep the Speedlimit issue has returned and still VOC wont pair! Waiting for call back from dealer with update from Volvo Technical

Have the speed limiter issue which has never gone away, loss of sound, GPS stuck in places that I’m not at, drivers screen pixelated and unreadable, loss of data and GPS, parking brake automatically applying when driving, slow system, music does not turn off when car is turned off and door opened. Have to lock car then un lock and then lock again. Pedestrian brake applied both when travelling forwards and backwards. Not picking up phone for calls and the VOC error everyone has. However this can be solved.

When the garage reset the car, they mess with the profiles. You need to delete all the profiles from the car and the app and start again. Won’t work if you just delete fron the app.

It’s all a pain in the arse. Worse car I have ever had. Wish I got the XC90 I wanted but was sold on the new updates to the XC60 by the dealer. Said it was so much better than the Sensus system. Once again a dealer telling little white lies. Even told me there was no other reports of cars with errors on the MY22 and I was making it up. Had to take videos to show them.
