Well my XC60 arrived as scheduled, a few days for prep and picked it up this week - delighted so far.

They quoted Q1 2022 when I initially ordered in September, then narrowed that down to 25th March late last year, and it arrived as expected so can't complain in that respect.

My first Volvo and already I prefer it to the 2021 Audi Q5 I briefly owned last year - looks better (opinion I know), feels more upmarket inside, far far more comfortable seats, and I think the infotainment and tech is a step ahead also.

I was worried I wouldn't gel with the touchscreen, but I have been using the voice commands for nearly everything and its so simple - turn heated seats off, adjust temperature, navigate - it does everything I want just by asking it to, i wonder if many that don't like the touchscreen bother to try and use the voice commands?

Anyway, fingers crossed it's a 'good one' without issue going forward, and wish the same for everyone else who has taken or is about to take delivery!

So as predicted I had to chase up my dealer today but he did respond to my chaser email within the hour.

The good news is the publicised delays haven't affected my order. No info on build date was offered though.

Stone, blood.

My Sept ordered XC90 R-Design Pro is built and en route to Uk, expected around 10 April, I feel certain yours will follow in around 3 weeks.

We ordered a V60 T6 Plus in February and were initially given a rough delivery date of June/July which lined up with the 4-5 months quoted on the Volvo website. Apparently our order is in a pool but doesn’t have a confirmed build date. Just noticed that the delivery time on the Volvo website has increased to 12-18 months - any one heard anything from their dealer?

The website has only changed in the last few days; I ordered my T6 ultimate mid January and was told early to mid July. I had an update from the dealer on Saturday to say Volvo were expecting to start production of MY23 in May and they should be able to give an estimated delivery date before the end of April. Until then my order is in the holding pool too.

Seems like ongoing parts shortages are pushing out their delivery times further than they planned. I’m assuming the earlier orders will slip less than more recent ones but time will tell.

Does anyone have any further information on what happened to the 2023 V60 'Core' model? Placed an order middle of Feb for a B3P Core, quoted at 4-5 months, only to see it's now been removed from Volvo UK's website and isn't on the MY2023 price list. Thank you.
