Default Importing a Classic Volvo to the UK - Questions

Hi all,
Has anybody got any experience of registering a classic Volvo (from Sweden)?
I'm about to start the registration proces but need a Certificate of Conformity.
I've converted the speedo and fitted Uk spec headlights, so am almost good to go.
Any advice welcome.
Cheers,
Darren.

What year is the car ?

By cert of conformity do you mean a letter from the manufacturer ?

That s usually to confirm the date of production

For example Volkswagen do an actual birth certificate from the museum in Germany.

Normally you should only need the following

Foreign log book,
Mot (for post 1960)
Insurance
ID
Fill out the first v5 application form
Pay £55 to dvla

And that's it

That's my experience anyway, with cars from outside eu you need customs receipt for duty and vat also
