Default S40 T4 Blanking plate

hi im looking for a blanking plate so i can fit a dump valve to my car, anyone know where to get one cheap? im not bothered about looks as its hidden by pipes lol

Best you will get IMO is genuine Forge job. No substitute for quality. And in fairness they ain't that expensive nor indeed, much more than others.

You are probably just as well going direct to Forge themselves, unless you can find one secondhand which I would suggest, is unlikely...

If you can speak with John Withers, he seems to know the Volvo S40 setup as well as anyone, and can certainly help.

thanks for that ill give him a ring tommorow. if i made my custom pipe with 90 degree hoses and a piece of pipe how would i be able to fit the dumo valve as mine isnt on a t-piece .

You'd need a specially fabricated silicone hose, with a takeoff the correct diameter, to take the valve direct. Otherwise, speak to a friendly metal fabricator/welder/blacksmith, and get them to attach the valve to a custom t piece. That's what the Forge valve comes with if you get the full S40 kit - valve, aluminium t piece, blanking plate, and vacuum hose.
