Default Help, possible oil leak

Have just serviced my diesel engine.

I appear to have a drip of oil.

It seems to be coming from around the oil filter, i tightened the oil filter as much as i could by hand so the question is, is it just oil from when i topped up and glugged a bit everywhere as we all do when filling volvos and is from when i removed the filter that has sat on the topside of pipes and things just making its way to ground?

HELP!!!

Did you apply clean oil to the rubber gasket before you fitted the filter? If not it wont have tightened up properly. If you did, then it’s probably just spillage.
