G reg would be subject to the pre-cat emissions test, so I'd it were me I'd be removing the cat altogether or smashing the guts out of it and just putting a new lambda sensor into a boss on the exhaust.

The other worry would be what is hiding under all the underseal that appeared at the same time as some corrosion advisories!

You're correct Chris which means it was in excess of 3.5% CO - unlesss of course the muppet of a tester wasn't aware and simply tested it for a later cat. Had that happen several times!

One even tried failing my 760 becuase it didn't have a cat on it until i pointed out it was too early!
