Were you in Whitley Bay today.
I own and drive a silver 1992 940 estate. I was a passenger in my daughter’s XC70 today attending a funeral in Whitley Bay, Northumberland. Travelling from the crematorium in Whitley Bay to the Seaman’s Mission chapel in Cullercoats, about three cars in front of us was a silver 700/900 estate with a full length roof rack, bodywork even more in need of attention than mine and a very smoky exhaust. It carried on towards Tynemouth when we turned off to the chapel. Then, after the service and refreshments, when about to leave said chapel, saw another silver 700/900 estate with bicycles on a rear carrier travelling from Cullercoats towards Whitley Bay. It seemed in better condition than mine.
Haven’t seen one for a while then two in one afternoon.
