help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee
hi i fitted me towbar meself on me 97 p reg'd v40 .googled the wiring diagram to wire up electric socket it turned out to be wrong.ive no brake lights now and no indicaters.no speedo.no rev counter no info for mpg etc.the clock is the only thing working..lights come on when the engine is running.put side lights on and the lights go off..hazard lights work.central locking works.heater and interior lights work.. please helppppppppppppp

I think I have a diagram, but its for the volvo loom, is this any help?

only got 3 posts at the moment...was hoping someone had same experience and could tell me what could possibly the fault... i have to drive using hand signals.boo hoo.

sorry, but have you disconnected anything under the car?
iv never had to fit a tow-bar, but is there just a plug that you plug the wiring into or something? i would start checking around the areas that you have disturbed, then check the fuses... appart from that i can only suggest getting an auto-leccy to take a look |
