Are suppliers Superheroes or what?!
WOW...is all I can say once again after a superb service from Simon at Brookhouse, advice, chat, and super-friendly service, along with competitive prices and super (and i mean super) fast delivery...
After replacing the seals in my clutch slave cylinder last year (against advice from here and Simon, but money prevailed), I found myself once again clutchless at the weekend. I ring up 9am monday morning, and after a quick bit of advice on whats best again, and 'how to' guide, I've ordered a new cylinder. Tuesday morning - Wham! post arrives and there's the part ready to go on, all i need is the time do it and its completed...wednesday afternoon on my back, and within the hour (due to the seized lock nut on the adjusting rod) and it's done! Well done to simon and all the suppliers who are passionate about keeping us and our cars happy and on the road! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Jim;
I agree about the suppliers of spares...where would we be without them? Your experience with slave cylinder is typical...that is, about a year of service after a "rebuid"...but even with a new slave, I still suggest an O'ring on the piston...and changing to silicon fluid. Ron-
I have dropped you a couple of emails and never heard back from you... You were asking about fuse boxes. I also sent you a scan of a 444 wiring diagram and never hear anything from you... Did you get that? I also have a collection of photos and articles on 444, 544, and 122 rally stuff from the 1950's and 1960.... I had a very neat discussion two nights ago with a Canadian that ran the 1967 Shell 4000 in a '63 122. He stopped by my place to get some parts for a 122 he is currently rebuilding. He has some photos from back in the day. I am trying to get him to scan in... Chris agent_strangelove@hotmail.com |

Simon at Brookhouse has been brilliant with an order for body parts, sent photos of parts by e-mail and phoned to complete order, expect to receive by Monday, order placed on Thursday.
Super fast and efficient. |
