Default V40 D4 mass air flow sensor

Hi everyone. I have a mass air flow sensor fault on my 2014 d4. £300 for a new oe one. Are there any cheap options to replace this? I don't want to spend the money to find out that it's not the problem.

Hi
I had this problem the other day, I took the sensor out and sprayed it with WD40 cleared the code and the reduced engine performance and tortoise have not returned, (4 days and 300 miles) D4 2014 engine.
