Hey all,

Can anyone confirm details of the next Scottish Section meet? I'm hoping my poorly 340DL will be ready for some miles within the next few weeks, and a section meet would be an ideal reintroduction to daily use.

Thanks

Roge1

Cheers
No word of any meets yet but I expect Rosco will have something in mind.
960 has now moved on to Argyll but I have no doubt we will meet up again. New owner, Ian, promises to bring her to the meets and the intention is to rendezvous at the car park at the top of the Rest and be Thankful. Was in the news this week again. Another landslide and the old Military Road in use again. Will be a good run for the Amazon. Anybody else likely to attend?

Dates for the March (23rd), April (27th), & June (1st) meeting have been sent to the Driver.

No venues decided for remainder of year as yet, so happy to conisder R&BT for later in year or if you wish to organise an R&BT trip as an additional before then, feel free.

R.

I sold my 960 to Ian Collinson from Cowal and we agreed we would have a rendezvous up the R&BT and it would have been fine if a few other Volvo types met us there. I think he had coffee at Arrochar in mind. No wish to take anything away from Rosco and anything he may have arranged.
It was mentioned at the time Kev that it would be a fine wee run for you. Job permitting.

Cheers Dibble
Sounds like a plan, coffee at Arrochar also sounds good, or there is a snack van based in the lay by at the top of the 'Rest', with plenty of parking and good view.
Kevin.

Plenty of parking and a wonderful view but not sure about the van hence Arrochar.

Sounds like a great idea. I have never stopped at the Rest and Be Thankful but it looks like a nice spot for a mini meet. I am going to put the amazon back on the road over the Easter holidays.

Thanks
Jim
