No Horn

Hi I have a a Volvo 460CD 1994 but the MOT it's due in two and half weeks and the horn has packed up. It's not the fuse and I can only think that it's at the horn end but I can see it anywhere in the engine bay.Can someone enlighten me and solve this puzzle for me. I can only assume it's behind the bumper.Thank you.

On my 1991 440 the horns were behind the engine splash guard bolted to the front cross member. So if you look under the front of the car you should see them once the guard if off. Hope this helps Bob.....

yep thats were they are on my 440 found them today front right hand side as you look at the car one of the connactions had corroded so no horn

mine is in the middle just off set to the left,,, and i only have one,,,its inside the engine bay behind the radiator,, but mine is a demonicly possesed 440

Possible faults are wiring to the horn or spade connectors on the horn either loose or corroded, the actual horn itself or the contacts on the steering wheel, especially if it is the air bag model. I think there is 1 horn and 1 for the alarm, there are definitely 2 under there behind the front bumper below the radiator!
