Rear silencer p2 v70 t5

I am looking for a rear silencer for the above car.. Not sure if it is available just as a stand alone piece..? Or requires the whole exhaust system..

They are available, I presume yours is the original in one piece with the centre section. I found one at CES, however even trade is was £100 so I got creative with the MIG!

I believe I still have one, in excellent condition (it may have been scrapped - I'll have to check).

Is there any difference in silencer for turbo and non-turbo engine? Anyone know?

According to Eurocarparts they have the same part numbers for the 2.4NA and 2.3 T5

Well... Euro car parts is selling the same silencer dedicated for turbo engines saying it will fit 2.4 and 2.4T.

Volvo clearly states "WITHOUT TURBO" if particular exhaust is NOT for turbo engine.

It seems that there are two types of exhaust. First for 2.4 petrol no turbo, and second for everything else turbo powered (petrol and diesel).

So Bosal, on their website have back box 286-143 (OE8638532) for turbo engines, and 286-141 (OE8634167) for 2.4 without turbo.

I need rear silencer, so I went to GSF website and ordered their 252VO0139 (Rear/Bosal) as recommended for my V70 2.3T. Going to collect my item I expected Bosal 286-143 (for turbo), GSF gave me 286-141, and their invoice says 252VO0139 - 8683430.
8683430 is a Volvo number for silencer for 2.4 no turbo, and Bosal part matching that cross reference number should be therefore 235-147 but on Bosal website they state it is indeed for TURBO engine.

Anyone can work it out?

I ended up ordering somewhere else Bosal 286-195 (centre) and 286-143 (rear). And still confused if it is the correct one for my B5234T3 engine.

Should I start a new thread regarding this matter?

Which website is right/wrong gsf, euro car parts, or volvo parts store?
ECP and GSF seems that do not worry what they are selling.
So now we are back to my first and main question:

Bosal silencer for turbo powered engines is NOT 286-143 but 235-143, and for engines without turbo is not 286-141 but 235-141.
