I have 1999 V70 and to read my codes and clear management light I bought one off ebay for £20 approx. It was one of the 480 tools, a bit cheap and cheerful but does the job.

If your buying it off ebay be carefull, especially when buying software to use on laptops, there are a lot of illegal copies which often don't work.
I brought laptop software from ilexa (vol-fcr) works a treat.

Hi, this is a code reader not software for laptop so no problems there. Don't think it touches SRS stuff as it is the most basic type reader. Just good for eml codes and restting eml light.

Don't know about VOL-FCR as I don't have it. The basic code readers are all over eBay, Amazon etc.

Only BSR PPC/VCT/Auto Daignosis and a couple of others will switch of SRS light, the universal 20 quid Jobbies will only read basic engine codes
