Default 740 O/S/R Girling caliper, brake hoses.

Does anyone have a source for cheap rear brake hoses for my E-plate 740GL saloon? I can only find goodridge sets for £80. I also need a driver's side rear caliper, as mine leaks, and there are only expensive remanufactured ones on ebay.

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

John.

Rear flexible hoses??

Surely they can't be that expensive, anyway, I have good 2nd hand ones here and I think I may have a decent caliper. I'll try and check tomorrow night after work.

Hoses shold be less than a tenner each. Any decent parts supplier should be able to get them.
As for the caliper, strip it down and change the seals. Braydons seem cheapest (I paid about £6 per caliper). Check on the Scantech website to get the code for the correct seal kit.

Thanks guys, I figured the motor factors would have hoses, but my shift pattern means I can't get to one until Saturday, so if I can get parts posted I can do the work in the evenings. I have a lot on, as I've just wrecked another engine in my 340 16v, but the 740 has to take time priority at the moment as it's my tow car.

That'd be fantastic if you could, I'd like to spend as little money as possible, as my 340 is demanding quite a lot of cash for new renault parts.

Thanks for that, I can't seem to find the parts on Braydon's website, and I can't find scantech on google. Best to give Braydon's a call perhaps?

Sorry, the caliper I have is a dud, flexi hoses I have are on the car and I wouldn't get them removed until thurs. But as said above, new ones shouldn't be more than £10 each
