Default Exhaust manifold flexi joint............

Hi Guys,

Just a quick query, my recently acquired V70 has a slight blow from the exhaust, towards the front ish, haven't found it yet, but have had a lot on. The previous owner who had an oil and filter change done about a month before I got it, did say it had a bit of paste put on by the garage, but wasn't quite sure where.

I have had a quick look today, simple bonnet up and peer about lol, but am slightly puzzled in as much as I can see a flexi joint, which looks very clean and new, but it is AFTER the joint at the bottom of the manifold, I thought they were on the manifold itself? Or am I being a bit dense, and there are in fact one on the manifold, and one on the pipe? I haven't attempted to take the heatshield off to have a proper look, or got round to ramping up the front of the car to peer from underneath.

Cheers,

Jay.
