Default Floor mats but what car?

I picked these cheap from eBay, but the guy seemed to think they where for a 740/760 but I have tried and they definitely aren’t.

They where originally in his dads 760 years ago, but have since been stored in his mums garage and now being cleaned out.

They are in good condition and look similar to the snow mats but what car would they be from?

Thanks

When I put them in my 740 they seemed too short. If you push them up to the bulk head they have a large gap between the seat and the mat.

I’ll trial fit again tomorrow, but even the rears seem too big and are really wedged in.

Cheers. So I take it these are manual mats? Do you have an idea what the auto ones look like?

They look very similar, but not identical, to those in my 1992 940. The shaping of the top left hand corners of the front ones look different to mine. The first image of the front ones has them on the wrong sides. The one shown on the left is actually for the right hand side etc. Those little cutouts on the bottom corners fit over a bracket at the front of the outside seat rail.

Cheers Ian. I’ll have another look the morning and try and fit again
