Default Gauging interest - 940 Sports edition turbo - Galaxy Alloys

Hello everyone,

I will be selling my fathers 940 Sports edition turbo (1996 N-Reg) and I am putting the feelers out just now to see what interest there will be.

The car has been SORN'd since March this year and is without an MOT. The reason being that due to health reasons, the car was no longer a suitable daily for him and unfortunately I do not have the time or space for the car at the moment (absolutely gutting for a Volvo Enthusiast that has already had to get rid of a PV544 recently)

Anyway, The car is a maroon 96 model with 97,630 miles on the clock. We have owned the car since it was 2 years old and it has never skipped a beat. Unfortunately it is the bodywork on the Offside that lets the car down mainly as the front and rear arches have begun to rot on this side.
The interior is in great condition, minus the normal wrinkled door cards.
And, possibly what a lot of people are waiting to hear, it has 5 Galaxy wheels which were powder coated in the last 6 or 7 years with not a single dent of bit of Kerb rash. The only issue is they have started to bubble a little at the valves. Other than that, they are in superb condition.

Just to be clear this car is not a minter due to the bodywork and it does have a few advisories from the last MOT, but I am really hoping we can sell it onto an enthusiast who will keep it on the roads for years to come.

I will be posting a full honest Ad with loads of pictures and full details of the condition, good and bad. The car is in Glasgow and would need to be collected, and I will not be selling the Galaxy's separately, sorry.

Feel free to drop me a PM before I get the time to post the full advert if you think you would be interested and want to have a chat about the car (with email address and/or contact number as I don't think I can reply to PM's on here as I am a new member)

Cheers, Neil.
