Always wondered how it would look painted a dark colour. Looks brilliant with that grey colour.

It looks fantastic, DavidV !
My dream is to have something like ERST package but those bits cost a fortune!
Hammerite Silver spray is on the way but Im very much considered to do something similar to yours as my skid plate looks like car was driven off road all the time.
Just trying to imagine how it will look plasti dipped silver colour.
Will have to play a bit with photoshop making different variations

Very nice David... very nice.

In terms of trim (chrome bits n wotnot) were they all standard on your R Design? They set of the whole look very nicely.

Thanks for the kinds words. I actually don't have an R-Design - just a plain 2007 3.2 AWD. I just pieced this together myself. The car has been very much a work in progress and I continue to find little ways to adjust it to my taste as time goes on.

My wife was particularly impressed with the chrome trims on the bumper. Are they Volvo or aftermarket?

Cheers

They are Volvo. I'll see if I can figure out the part numbers on those and will post them here when I do.

Thanks,
DavidV

The chrome trims are from 2013+ exec models (I think!)

Here's a link to the middle chrome moulding:

http://www.skandix.de/en/spare-parts...romed/1032763/

And the two corner pieces are here:

I'm sure other vendors carry them too.
