Tickover speed
Just noticed that my tick over at idle has increased to 1000rpm. It has always seemed slightly higher than my NA 2.4 10v manual, but I thought that was because it's an auto, but 1000rpm seems excessive. Anybody got any ideas what could be causing this please?

What car do you have, and especially what year? Makes a big difference as to how tickover speed is controlled.
