Saturday 13th June, gates open 11.30am - 4.30pm Ballee Playing Fields Ballymena All show cars are expected to be in place by 11am and cannot be move until show is over, gate opens for show cars at 8am Special 50th Anniversary of the Mini Show is open to all Vintage, Classic, Modern Classic & modified showcars All proceeds to MacMillan Nurses Entry fee £10 ( Driver plus 1 passenger ) Extra passengers charged as per gate Adults £3 under 12's free Show n Shine Truck display Catering Refreshments Kids enterainment Club Stands Trade Stands Motorsports Display All entry fee's to be paid by the 5th of May, i will look after this, but in order for me to have the fee paid on time i need to have a cheque / postal order by the 1st May along with Full name, address, phone number, email address, car reg, make model, year, they need to know class entered too, but i assume most will be modern classic (1972 - 1996). PM me for my address to forward cheque too. Reading through this it would appear my S70 doesnt fit in, and its not likely my 740 will be ready on time and the 940 isnt much of a show car, so i might not have anything on stand Last edited by CTCNetwork; May 28th, 2009 at 21:55. What about a Volvo stand at this, it the 13th of June and all fees go to McMullan Cancer. Anyone interested post up in this thread, if enough interest i will make the neccessary arragements. Its £10 per car + driver, extra passengers charged on the day @ £3 children under 12 get in free. Seems any car qualifys, so i might take my Turf Burner as well to get numbers up, there is space for 12 cars on the club application.
I'll Kick off... 1) NI_Volvo_Nut - 1989 740SE

This is a great opportunity for Volvo owners in Ireland, especially as it's not limited to classics; I reckon it could be a bit of a head turner for other car owners especially if there's a few niceties on the stand!
I just really regret I won't be there to help out!! I might have some blue/white, blue/yellow and a Swedish flag for decoration your welcome to, and off course the yellow 'Volvo Meet' sign! |
