Do uk spec 740estate turbos have daylight running lights?.The bulb failure light is always on but all the main bulbs are working.
Also the ABS warning light comes on intermittantly and the ABS also operates sometimes at very low speeds.I have cleaned the front sensors and checked the fuse on the ABS unit.
P.S. Thanks guys for your help on my previous post.

You neglected to inform us of the year of the car. All the 700 cars have lights on in daytime, but the later ones use dim dipped headlights.
As for the bulb failure light, this is sensitive to the power of the bulb. Sometimes fitting bulbs made by different manufacturers can trip it. The only way I know of finding it is to remove all the bulbs monitored by the relay, and replace each set at a time. i.e. fit the side lights first and check the warning, then test the brake lights, and so on. I am unable to recall exactly which circuits are monitored, but I'm sure that another member will enlighten us.
As for the ABS warning, the best course of action is to take the car to a specialist, or (should I say it?) Volvo dealer for inspection.

Hope this helps
