Hi all,

The ones in the units? I'm pretty sure they do, how else do the headlights get adjusted?

The motors do indeed adjust the lights up and down. Either manually with the switch, on standard lights, or with the self leveling sensor on cars with Xenons.
Alex, I have only found one motor but I will dig deeper to see if I can find another one. My offer for you to try the standard headlights still stands. Will let you knwo when we head your way. Boss will drop me at yours and then she can go shopping on her own....

Have you tried disconnecting the ball joint from the sensor and seeing if they still pop off this would tell you if the motors where at fault as I have said before I think you will find its because the sensor is thinking that the car is fully loaded due it being lowered the ball joint is pushing the sensor to adjust the headlights all the way down what have you got to loose its worth a go
