Default V40 T3 2.0 remapping

I'm getting my T3 2.0 remapped in a couple of weeks time - just an off the shelf version as I don't need to push too far. The map gives 190 bhp which sounds about rught as that's just taking to the T4 level which is available abroad. I wonder if much of the tuning is not just turning up the boost pressure? I found from OBD scanner a peak boost of about 7PSI on mine as stock and from what I read is nearing the limit on a 11.3:1 compression engine. Maybe a remap could take this to 9PSI, but it's possible gains are made elsewhere as the 2l engine should be able to deliver over 150 as N/A? Taking into account the T4 has the same turbo its possible the T3 and T2 are detuned versions in many ways.

I'm no expert - just armchair research so maybe others have some more insight? Many thanks.

Remap now done and the boost is reading 14psi peak! Must be a lot of trickery with the cam timing as if I'm correct the VEA and many modern engines have VVT.

Torque steer nearly took wheel from my hand at one point. Didn't expect it at just over 2k revs.

I'm getting a v40 t3 and considering a remap but I've noticed the T1.5 engines (2017) don't have as many places mapping them.

I've used a chap out your way for a few remaps in the past (Simon - emaps) but his website says he's not working due to ill health so fingers crossed it isn't too serious. That said he doesn't appear to remap mine anyway.

Who did the remap on yours?

It seems some places show the 1.5 engine and others the 2.0. I suspect they assume a T3 is just one or the other - not both sizes!

I just went for Superchips as was a good price and wanted the convenience. Very happy so far and obd2 readings seem OK and runs well. Seems to pull as hard as my previous remapped 2.2 diesel Civic now, but then keeps going longer. I'm impressed.
