C30 headunit query

Evening all. Just signed up!

Just wondering, what are the options on changing the default head unit on a C30? Can a screen be applied in the default location of the LCD screen, instead of mounting a screen on the dashboard?

I want something that fits where the current LCD screen is, with satnav, bluebooth, aux, cable, sd card etc?

Depending on year of your car volvo did an accesory ipod/usb unit that plugged into original car headunit and everything was controlled through screen,

Companies like dension also make units that do same with there gateway 500,

Be warned though there is about 5 differant versions of the gateway 500 and not all work with volvo's so be watch out if you try and buy a secondhand unit,

Thanks for the reply. I have a 2007 volvo c30. A quick look, and dension does not support the c30

This has just been launched, but it is pricey, and no-one has actually got their hands on it yet to see if it is any good or not.

That looks good. Hopefully there are some reviews in the near future, if its good i will defiantly look into this.
