The car is locking me in!
2010 XC70
So randomly when I go to get out of the car, the drivers door won't open from the inside or the outside, when I lift the handle on the inside, the locking pin will move up as though the door is being unlocked, but then it will spring back down when I release the handle The only way to get it to unlock is to press the lock and unlock button a few times until it eventually decides to work. It's almost as though it is deadlocking me in, but I would not have though the deadlock should operate when you are in the car? Anyone had this before?

What happens with other door locks or is it only the drivers door affected?

Hi, am getting the same for awhile on S80 2015. I've got my car configured that only the drivers unlocks first, then the others. it doesn't always happen, i use the handle ad it will open. I've just got used to it. but would be helpful to know a cure.

I've not checked the rear doors, but the front passenger does not have the same problem
