i quite often get a call telling me i've had an accident in the past 5 years and i am entitled to compensation

when i ask how they found out about this so called accident they are always vague and evasive, (mostly because ive never been in an accident, ever) then i ask where they got my information from and they're just as evasive.

while i dont hate these people simply because of their job, it's very apparent the type of person in this line of work cares far more about money than any person's welfare, and it does get me mad when they call me up

A colleague at work often gets calls telling him he has been in an accident. This is despite the fact that he doesn't have a drivers licence or own a car!

My wife had a no fault crash when someone crashed into her rear at traffic lights 2 years ago!!

As it was my car she gave my mobile number and then the fun began.
I started with the truth and now I use a mixture of 'I've had the £2 million pay out thanks' to silence and wait for them to hang up.

If I don't recognise the number and do not answer, they never leave a message so I just block the number.
It's gone from a couple of calls per day to approximately 1 call per week now

Very recently I was sitting first in a long line of cars at a red light when the driver immediately behind me took their foot off the brake and stabbed the accelerator, still under the red light, and rammed me and my bike hard from behind. The driver was ticketed and their insurance company has accepted complete liability. I am extensively injured, in pain, and after my Dr. saw me, he agreed I am quite injured, wrote me 2 Rx's, and referred me to an Orthopedic/Sports Medicine specialist for further examination/treatment etc. I am seeking advice from the community on how to find a good personal injury attorney. I sincerely appreciate your time for reading this and responding.
