Thanks guys,
I’ve seen that early GLT, shame they have done a man LPG conversion in it. Also what’s going on with the engine? Should be injection not carb. Is that because of the LPG ? |

This one is pretty.... expensive.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204076885534 The lpg converted one would have a carb because modding the original k-jet to lpg would have been.... interesting. Perhaps possible with a throttle body, but no lpg conversion garage would be doing more than the minimum. Tbe big doughnut tanks need testing/replacing every 10 years, and unless you have access to lpg (filling station or high pressure dispenser on your domestic lpg tank) it's kilos of metal taking up space. On the plus side, lpg purportedly causes less top end wear, so it's not a mod that causes detriment to reliability. |
