Phase 1.5 was the 'transitional' point between P1 and P2.

They usually have twin headlights, but the P1 type seat style.

I think it really depends on what was in the parts bins, at the time.

Some may have the P2 console, others don't.

Honestly, silver seems to be one of the worst colours to make huge improvements on, as a dirty silver car, usually still looks clean.

A good wash and maybe a clay/polish, should make it all good.

Another good tip is to put on new number plates. It can make big differences to the look of the car.

Clean alloys is also another trick.

Silver cars,, the Trim plastics/rubber if they Were black when new,, sort em out from the "grey" they all fade to, will increase the contrast with the silver making it appear "better"

C4 would be my choice to "black" the little beggars. i may Finally have to touch up 1 part of mine with C4 after nearly 3 years from the one and only application of it.

A quick update as promised. Its all gone pear shaped LOL. Got more info today, and car now has a large rust patch on the o/s front wing (usual area), and a scratch on the n/s rear quarter. These were only discovered today after a wash.
So mot due, bonnet needed, rust to do, scratch repair, tax due, ive said no thanks. Shame really car looks to have the t4 bodykit, poss sports suspension, oh and a twin socket towbar.
Owner is looking to sell so anyone want a 2.0T ?

[QUOTE=Volvo2002;1068085]Pacman

Out of the NA engines, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0. I personally would pick the 1.8 for a good balance of performance and MPG. Just my opinion though.

Hell the 2.0T (163bhp) does a fantastic 35.8MPG on the combined cycle, so not to be overlooked if you like some ooomph

... hi there
your quote .. 35.8 combined.. i only get around 22 . then 30 at the very best mway driving conservatively ! mines a T plate so any info advising more mpg is good
cheers
