Thanks for all the reply guys (and gals!).
Will probably go the OEM route as suggested, would ebay be cheaper than Main dealer spares dept?

Oh, and Sasha, respect for what you've been through. You're lucky to have your family stand by you.

Thanks I am very lucky.

eBay might be cheaper but you can always try your local main dealer first. Might not be too scary

They were an ebay purchase, was about 2 years ago. the seller was cartuningsolutionsltd and they were about £9. I do recommend getting them nice and warm before fitting so they mold themselves to the cars shape, left mine sitting in the sun for an hour or so before fitting.

I fitted Volvo ones front and back, used a torx bit in an8 mm ratchet spanner and did not have to remove the wheels.
They do help, having a black car the sides were always filthy in the wet, still not clean but much better with the mud flaps.

Well I finally got around to ordering some mudflaps from Marshalls in Welwyn. Slightly cheaper than Ebay at £44 a pair. Ordered on the saturday, arrived on the monday.

I also picked up a touch up paint pen - any good tips for using these? It comes with a separate 'pen' for base and laquer and some pictorial instructions which don't look very helpful.

Anyways, i took some pics of the XC70 before and after fitting the mudflaps. They went on real easy even with the wheels on.
It's just a shame they seem to only fix to the flimsy plastic inner wheel arch liner.
Replacement screws are included which i would have expected to be a little longer, but were the same length? Maybe just in case the old ones were rusty of full of mud.
Hopefully they'll keep the sides & acres of plastic a bit cleaner.

'Before' first..

'After'..
