Angry 2013 VOLVO XC60 with 3.2 gas engine

This car has run great UP TILL NOW...! Now when I start it cold it starts and run just fine but as it warms up and come of the high idle speed it starts to misfire sometime very badly. But then as it starts to warm up out of the blue like as if someone flipped a light switch it runs fine and there are NO misfires as all. But then out of the blue like as I said someone flips and light switch it starts to misfire and not on one cylinder but on a number of them all at once. Then again that light switch flips and all is good again.

I had it into a shop to have the up stream O2 sensor replaced and what a night mare that was. They broke it off in the exhaust manifold and they had to take it out, then they broke the fitting it threads into and had to be sent out and have a new fitting welded on to it. Then they put the WRONG sensor in it and once they found that out they broke that one off as well....so the whole manifold had to be taken out yet again. What a nightmare.

Once they got the right O2 put in and started the car it ran like sh*t, and I said this will not do. They told me everything is fine and that there is nothing wrong as I drive with 3 clinders not works....ya rights just fine you bet...thats a joke by the way.

Since they touched it I am getting this rough running and I get a messasge that pops up that says ( slow down and shift up ). Thats a good trick when your in drive and its in top gear 6th and I am doing almost 80 Km/h.

In the end I got hosed for $800 for this O2 job and now have far more problems then what the car in with. Anyone have any idea what the hell is going on...? Its clear they do not know how to use a scan tool as they say its shows everything is fine. They say there is a misfire issue but everything is fine...what a load os &%* S%&) that is. I am stuck living in a one horse town there the only one horse there was died like 50 years ago, and there is no one here that knows nothing about anything....HELP...! I will have to fix this myself somehow, but I need help in finding out whats wrong.

I do not have a scan tool and the only one I could borrow is as useless as those that I took the car to. It only shows PASS or FAIL but will not give me real data that I can read and see if something is out of spec but might still be reporting is working. As for me, well I am Millwright thats a heavy duty mechanic...but retired. I hate these new computer everything cars, what a pain.
