Default V50 D5 Geartronic strange rotational sound

Hi all,

I have a strange issue which several Volvo specialists are unable to pinpoint the cause of.

There is a fairly quiet rotational 'woom woom woom' noise when traveling between 30-35 MPH from the front of the car.

We've tried the following to no avail:
Replaced N/S wheel bearing
Replaced driveshaft centre carrier bearing

details of testing etc...
Same noise if going in a straight line or going around a corner
two sets of wheels and tyres used
noise is road speed related, not engine speed related
does not matter which gear you are in - same noise/volume
not related to braking/accelerating

The one key thing is that if you knock the car into neutral at 30-35 MPH whilst the noise is occurring - it stops.

It it a soft non-clunking noise

If anyone on this forum has any experience with a similar issue, i would appreciate your help.

Thanks.
