Smile Fuel and MPG

I have just returned from France after attending a ceremony.
I fuelled up before I left here and did 405 miles before refuelling and it took 8.2 gallon so average of around 50 mpg various motorway and national,
did 183 mile before filling up again and it took 3.11 gallons (60 MPG ) ?
the car is 2010 D5 xc 70 and I use millers fuel additive and over the time I find this works for me
on the plus side given the rate of exchange Diesel was averaging £1.65 litre

I bought my 2012 212bhp V70 with 30k miles on the clock about 6yrs ago. It gets used for work and I get paid mileage so not only do I drive it fairly sedately most of the time, but I also monitor fuel used and mileage.

The clock has just hit 260k miles and it has averaged a genuine measured 46.1mpg over the 230k miles in my ownership. Works for me!

Hell's teeth - over 38k a year, 700-odd miles a week. It's not a taxi is it?

Here you go. Perfect for driving, and can't be classified as Roman footwear.

Toga...? Nah, too big a risk getting entangled somewhere. And Roman. Select something slightly tighter...

Is that footwear the sort of thing Spiderman wears? Not sure about that tight clothing, though I must admit that you look better in it than I would.

Don't know, haven't met Spiderman. But I've tried the shoes, and they are perfect for long haul driving.
The other one isn't me, for sure! It's just the most opposite to toga I could think of.
