Default Steering Wheel Angle Sensor part no XC90

Getting SAS-0018, causing the "Anti Skid Service Required"

Scoured Vida the other night and could NOT find the part number for a Steering Wheel Angle Sensor. It's helpfully shown under the steering assembly parts, but not numbered. Tried ABS components. No. Really couldn't find it.

So, does anyone know what branch of the parts tree to hunt down to find it?

Cheers in advance,

Paul

Although I have vida, I would personally just call frf swansea (other Volvo dealers available), give them your reg or Vin number and you will guarantee the correct part.

You need to make this call in any case.

Hope this helps

Definitely go by the VIN, and the part number is marked on the part so you can check before you fit it. There's only a couple of different ones.

You can also generally fix them if you are brave. The optical sensors need cleaning, which means it needs to come apart. You need to set to zero degrees and make sure it goes back at 0 degrees (not 180). There are a couple of threads on here about it.
