Default xc90 2004 stereo

hi all. so here goes, my first post in need of some of that wealth of knowledge ive seen so much off.

Ive noticed over the last few days that the stereo in the car seems to work fine for a while and then suddenly will switch off... then on....then off....then on...off on off on, and will continue doing this until i stop and turn the car off and back on again then it will work perfect again. its the premium sound cd player with cd changer built in, no bluetooth etc but has the steering wheel controls.

I know this has been mentioned before but I've only ever seen posts where by it does this on either the radio or cd. mine does this on both ! sometime it will work fine for an hour then start, sometime it will work fine on a 3 hour run and not play up at all.

thank in advance for any suggestions

Hi,

My solution was to take, or send, to Volvo diagnostics.

https://volvodiagnostic.com/

They will repair your unit and give the repair a fifelomg warranty.

Hope this helps
